SEO Specialist (Melbourne)

About the role

We are looking for an SEO Specialist to join Optimising’s Search team in Melbourne. You will be the primary point of contact for our clients, driving end‑to‑end SEO projects and delivering measurable results across a diverse portfolio of brands.

Key responsibilities

• Lead client relationships and act as the first point of contact for SEO engagements.
• Plan, execute and launch SEO projects, covering kickoff, requirements analysis, development, testing and go‑live.
• Manage ongoing campaign activities such as link building, competitor analysis, outreach and copywriting.
• Produce regular performance reports, analytics dashboards and data‑driven insights for clients.
• Stay current with industry trends, algorithm updates and emerging technologies.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of hands‑on SEO experience.
• Experience working with digital clients and eCommerce platforms, especially Shopify.
• Proven ability to mentor or lead within a team environment.
• Hands‑on experience implementing technical SEO solutions alongside web development teams.
• Strong communication and presentation skills, with a passion for sharing industry knowledge.
• Curiosity about AI tools and continuous improvement.
