SEO Specialist – Grow with a Leading Digital Agency

About the role

Digital Surfer is looking for an SEO Specialist with 1‑3 years of hands‑on experience to join our award‑winning team. You will work on live client accounts from day one, delivering measurable search performance while learning from senior marketers.

Key responsibilities

• Lead client communications, monthly reporting meetings and account health checks.
• Develop detailed SEO strategies across multiple industries.
• Execute on‑page, off‑page and technical SEO tactics for a portfolio of clients.
• Track ROI, produce monthly performance reports and explain results to clients.
• Perform keyword and competitor research, and support content brief creation.
• Update pages and blog posts in WordPress (Divi or Elementor) and Shopify.
• Manage Google Business Profile posting strategy and local SEO.
• Leverage Claude AI to improve work quality and efficiency.

Required profile

• 1‑3+ years of hands‑on SEO experience in an agency or in‑house setting.
• Strong on‑page and technical SEO fundamentals with a hunger to deepen expertise.
• Clear communicator able to explain actions and outcomes.
• High attention to detail and ability to juggle multiple accounts.

Required skills

• Google Search Console (GSC)
• Google Analytics 4 (GA4) – certification or willingness to obtain quickly
• SEMrush, Screaming Frog, rank tracker, Agency Analytics
• WordPress (Divi, Elementor) and Shopify
• Google Business Profile management
• Keyword and competitor research tools
• AI assistance tools such as Claude
