SEO & Organic Growth Manager

About the role

Abano Healthcare, the largest dental support organisation in Australasia, is seeking an experienced SEO & Organic Growth Manager to boost organic visibility and patient acquisition for its brands – Maven Dental, 1300SMILES and Lumino. This hands‑on role will shape and execute SEO strategies across multiple practice websites in Australia and New Zealand.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement SEO and organic growth strategies for several dental brands.
• Optimise local SEO, Google Business Profiles and practice listings to improve local discoverability.
• Create and refine content strategies that drive patient acquisition and treatment demand.
• Identify website performance and conversion opportunities and propose CRO hypotheses.
• Monitor SEO metrics, analyse data and deliver continuous‑improvement recommendations.
• Collaborate with Website, Performance Marketing, Analytics and Marketing Operations teams on integrated digital initiatives.
• Manage relationships with external SEO agencies and ensure best practices across all organic channels.

Required profile

• Strong SEO experience, preferably in a multi‑location, healthcare or lead‑generation environment.
• Commercial mindset linking SEO activity to bookings, patient acquisition and ROI.
• Proven ability to translate emerging AI‑search, GEO/AEO and zero‑click trends into actionable tactics.
• Comfortable working with website owners, development agencies and analytics teams.

Required skills

• On‑page, local and technical SEO expertise.
• Google Analytics / GA4, Google Search Console.
• SEMrush, Screaming Frog and other local‑SEO tools.
• CMS platform management.
• Conversion Rate Optimisation (CRO) and UX analytics.
• Google Business Profile optimisation.
• Knowledge of AI‑search, GEO/AEO and zero‑click search trends.
