SEO Manager

About the role

Jaywing is looking for an experienced SEO Manager to join its growing SEO team. Working closely with the Head of SEO, you will develop and execute robust SEO strategies that adapt to evolving search engine algorithms and market trends.

Key responsibilities

• Guide and develop junior SEO team members, fostering a culture of excellence.
• Ensure website architecture and technical aspects are optimised for search engines.
• Stay ahead with technical SEO trends, including site speed optimisation, AI integration, and structured data.
• Collaborate with content creators to align SEO goals with content strategy.
• Monitor performance using analytics tools and report on traffic, rankings, and ROI.
• Manage SEO budgets and allocate resources for maximum return.
• Act as primary contact for SEO‑related client interactions.
• Refine internal processes to improve team efficiency.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, Commerce or related field.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in an SEO role.
• Proven leadership experience managing and mentoring SEO teams.
• Strong analytical and strategic thinking abilities.
• Excellent communication skills for stakeholder and client interaction.

Required skills

• Advanced knowledge of SEO principles and tactics.
• Technical SEO expertise (site architecture, speed, indexing, crawling).
• Experience with SEO tools such as SEMrush, Ahrefs, and Moz.
• Proficiency in analytics platforms for tracking performance.
• Ability to develop content strategies and execute link‑building campaigns.
