Marketing Executive - Content & Thought Leadership

About the role

Aquent is recruiting a Marketing Executive to join a leading global professional services organization that is reshaping its industry. The role centres on storytelling and thought leadership: turning complex business insights into engaging content that builds awareness of the organization's work and its experts. It is a foundational position in a growing team, helping to build a new content strategy from the ground up.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and manage a content calendar aligned with industry events, trends, projects and opportunities.
• Interview subject matter experts and turn their knowledge into articles, LinkedIn content, case studies and thought leadership pieces.
• Uncover the deeper story behind projects and create profiles and content that showcase the people behind the work.
• Produce website content, project profiles, newsletters and internal communications.
• Identify industry news and trends where the organization can contribute expert perspectives.
• Engage with senior stakeholders to understand their expertise and interests.
• Support event marketing and turn events into content opportunities.
• Work with marketing, digital, public relations and creative teams to amplify content reach.

Required profile

• 3-5 years of experience in content creation, B2B marketing, communications, corporate affairs, professional services or a similar environment.
• Exceptional writing skills and strong editorial judgment.
• Naturally curious, confident engaging with senior stakeholders and able to spot a good story early.
• Proactive, able to manage multiple content opportunities and deadlines, and comfortable in a professional services setting.
• Experience in professional services, consulting, corporate communications, technical B2B marketing or a similar complex services environment is a plus.
