SEO & GEO Specialist (Remote)

About the role

Employment Hero is looking for an SEO & GEO Specialist to own and grow organic visibility across Australia, New Zealand, the United Kingdom and Canada. Working remotely, you will partner with the Global SEO Lead to shape both traditional search and emerging AI‑driven search results for our HR‑tech platform.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct technical SEO audits on all Employment Hero properties, prioritize fixes and coordinate freelancers and suppliers to implement changes.
• Monitor GA4, Google Search Console, Ahrefs and SEMrush for traffic trends, algorithm updates and AI search shifts, translating insights into actionable strategies.
• Develop research‑backed content briefs, perform keyword research, content gap analysis and build topical authority with internal writers.
• Design, build and optimise landing pages, applying CRO principles and collaborating with design teams.
• Lead link‑building initiatives and manage GEO‑specific optimisation for each market.

Required profile

• Proven experience driving organic growth in multiple international markets.
• Commercial mindset with ability to connect organic traffic to pipeline revenue.
• Self‑starter who thrives in a remote, autonomous environment.
