Senior Taxation Specialist

About the role

Join RACV’s high‑performing tax team as a Senior Taxation Specialist. You will be responsible for delivering corporate tax compliance, reporting and advisory support for a large, diverse organisation while working closely with business partners.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and lodge corporate income tax returns and year‑end provisions for assigned group entities.
• Manage GST, FBT and Payroll Tax obligations, including lodgements, reconciliations and analysis.
• Provide commercially focused tax advice to stakeholders across the business.
• Support tight financial reporting year‑end deadlines and ensure accurate delivery.
• Review work of junior team members and contribute to their development.
• Drive process improvements and maintain tax policies, procedures and systems.

Required profile

• CA or CPA qualified with 5–8 years post‑graduate tax experience.
• Strong background in Australian corporate tax compliance and tax effect accounting.
• Hands‑on experience with GST, FBT and Payroll Tax.
• Commercially minded with the ability to translate technical tax issues into practical advice.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
• Experience working with ERP systems, preferably SAP or Oracle.
