Senior Finance Business Partner

About the role

Service Stream is seeking a commercially minded and highly analytical Senior Finance Business Partner to join its Central Group FP&A team. Reporting to the Group FP&A Manager, you will partner with Business Services leadership and the broader finance function to deliver insightful financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and commercial analysis.

Key responsibilities

• Lead month‑end P&L reporting with detailed variance analysis, commentary and performance metrics.
• Support end‑to‑end rolling forecasts and the annual budgeting process, providing insights into cost drivers, trends and workforce utilisation.
• Deliver timely recharges, journal entries and balance‑sheet reconciliations for property and fleet expenditure.
• Develop and monitor departmental KPIs to improve operational efficiency.
• Analyse business investment proposals to support sound commercial outcomes.
• Drive continuous improvement across reporting frameworks, systems and processes, including TM1, SAC and SAP S/4HANA.

Required profile

• Tertiary qualification in Business, Commerce or Accounting with CA or CPA.
• Proven experience in Finance Business Partnering, FP&A, Commercial Finance or Management Accounting.
• Strong communication skills with ability to influence senior stakeholders.
• Continuous‑improvement mindset and high attention to detail.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel.
• Power BI (preferred).
• Planning and reporting systems: TM1 and/or SAC.
• SAP S/4HANA.
