Senior Tax Accountant

About the role

This senior tax accountant position is with a growing accounting and wealth‑management firm that serves high‑value clients across multiple industries. You will work on a diverse client base, handling tax compliance and advisory tasks while gaining exposure to large‑scale financial statements.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare financial statements and tax returns for clients with up to $50 million turnover.
• Complete compliance work including BAS/IAS, Div 7A loans, GST, CGT and FBT matters.
• Stay up to date with taxation and legislative changes and support advisory introductions.

Required profile

• Minimum 4 years’ experience in an Australian public practice firm.
• Currently studying towards CA/CPA or interested in pursuing the qualification.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, high attention to detail and strong work ethic.
• Must be an Australian resident or permanent resident.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of Australian tax legislation.
• Experience preparing BAS/IAS and handling GST, CGT, FBT and Div 7A loan matters.
