Finance Lead Revenue

About the role

Aurizon is seeking an experienced Finance Lead Revenue to head a specialist team responsible for accurate and timely revenue processing within its Containerised Freight business. The role combines leadership, coaching and strong financial governance to ensure revenue, rating and billing are delivered efficiently.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee end‑to‑end revenue processing, ensuring billing and invoicing align with contractual arrangements.
• Provide day‑to‑day leadership, workload prioritisation and service delivery objectives.
• Maintain contract pricing, rate schedules and billing rules within revenue systems.
• Drive revenue assurance activities including reconciliations, exception management and control monitoring.
• Support team in resolving complex billing queries, revenue discrepancies and customer issues.
• Build strong relationships with operational, commercial and technology stakeholders.
• Identify and implement process improvements and system enhancements.
• Produce revenue reporting and analysis to support performance and assurance.

Required profile

• Relevant tertiary qualification in Accounting, Finance, Commerce or related discipline.
• Proven experience leading, coaching and developing finance or revenue teams.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Experience managing transactional finance, billing or revenue assurance functions.
• Demonstrated ability to handle complex pricing structures and high‑volume transaction processing.
• Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to data integrity.
• Continuous improvement mindset with experience implementing process or system enhancements.
