Senior Systems Engineer (C4i)

About the role

KBR is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer (C4i) to join a dynamic program delivering cutting‑edge integrated technology solutions for the Australian Defence Force. The role involves coordinating systems engineering tasks and aligning technical deliverables with program goals.

Key responsibilities

• Develop technical investigations and instructions for platform systems, including verification and validation of technical data.
• Create design requirements within engineering change and configuration management for mechanical and electrical platform systems.
• Participate in engineering design reviews and produce engineering support reports.
• Prepare and review work instructions, maintenance schedules, and certification standard documentation.
• Maintain relationships with key customers and suppliers and support graduate team members.

Required profile

• Degree qualified; Chartered Professional Engineer preferred.
• Proven ability to develop and execute Systems Engineering Management Plans.
• Hands‑on experience with configuration management practices.
• Working knowledge of the ASDEFCON contracting framework.
• Experience with software and RF systems, and V&V planning and test execution.
• Ability to obtain and maintain an AGSVA Security Clearance.
