Senior Software Engineer (.NET / Identity)

About the role

Join a high‑performing engineering team building secure integration and API platforms for one of Australia’s largest technology businesses. This senior position involves designing, developing and operating authentication, authorisation and event‑driven services at scale.

Key responsibilities

• Design and build scalable backend services using C# and .NET (8+), ASP.NET Core and modern cloud‑native patterns.
• Develop secure APIs and integration platforms for customers and partners, implementing OAuth2, OpenID Connect and JWT.
• Deliver event‑driven microservices and improve platform reliability, scalability and engineering quality.
• Collaborate with engineering teams across Australia and internationally, and mentor junior developers through design reviews and technical coaching.

Required profile

• Strong backend engineer with experience solving complex integration problems.
• Hands‑on experience with microservices, distributed systems and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure or GCP).
• Familiarity with Open Banking, Consumer Data Right (CDR) or large‑scale API platforms is highly regarded.
