Senior Site Manager

About the role

Hays is seeking an experienced Senior Site Manager to lead the construction of a $100M hotel project in Port Hedland. The role involves overseeing all on‑site activities from civil works through to handover, working closely with subcontractors and the project team.

Key responsibilities

• Manage day‑to‑day on‑site construction activities, ensuring progress aligns with the project schedule.
• Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, monitoring performance, safety, and quality standards.
• Prepare and deliver regular reports on site progress, health & safety compliance, and any issues.
• Oversee the transition from civil works to fit‑out and final handover phases.
• Maintain site documentation, including permits, inspections, and handover records.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience as a site supervisor or manager on commercial construction projects.
• Proven experience managing hotel or accommodation builds.
• Background in Tier 1/2 commercial construction, covering civil works through to completion.
• Strong knowledge of health & safety regulations and reporting requirements.
