Senior SEO Specialist

About the role

AEK Media is seeking a Senior SEO Specialist to lead SEO strategy for a portfolio of ambitious brands across healthcare, law, eCommerce and B2B. You will develop end‑to‑end SEO plans, collaborate with content and design teams, and have the chance to expand into paid marketing.

Key responsibilities

• Build and implement comprehensive SEO strategies, including keyword research, content topic planning and site architecture review.
• Plan and develop SEO‑aligned content, ensuring visibility in Google and emerging AI search landscapes.
• Collaborate with content writers and designers to produce high‑quality, SEO‑friendly assets.
• Learn and apply paid marketing tactics to complement organic efforts.
• Use analytics tools to track performance, interpret data and continuously optimise campaigns.
• Stay up‑to‑date with industry trends and best practices.

Required profile

• 3+ years of SEO experience covering on‑page, off‑page and technical SEO.
• Strong curiosity and a “no black boxes” mindset.
• Proficiency with SEO tools such as Google Search Console, Google Analytics, Ahrefs and SEMrush.
• Excellent analytical ability to turn data into actionable insights.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Detail‑oriented with a focus on delivering high‑quality work.
• Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast‑paced environment.
