Senior Risk & Investigations Consultant

About the role

FTI Consulting’s Risk and Investigations practice is seeking a senior professional to lead sophisticated research, investigations and forensic accounting engagements. Based in Sydney, you will work directly with the Senior Managing Director to help clients mitigate risk, protect assets and ensure compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Lead forensic accounting elements of investigations and dispute engagements, applying data‑analytics techniques.
• Oversee due‑diligence, business‑intelligence and other investigative projects, including public‑record research and discreet source inquiries.
• Supervise junior personnel and evaluate information sources for accuracy and relevance.
• Produce research reports, presentations and visual diagrams in English to document findings and recommendations.

Required profile

• 10‑12+ years of experience in investigation, dispute work or forensic consulting.
• Proven ability to supervise junior colleagues and operate in fast‑paced, dynamic environments.
• Excellent written English communication skills.
• Minimum Bachelor’s degree.
