Claims Advocate

About the role

Join Marsh's Claims Advocacy team in Sydney on a 12‑to‑14‑month contract providing parental leave cover. The hybrid role involves client‑ and insurer‑facing work on complex claims across cyber, financial professional, and construction sectors.

Key responsibilities

• Support claims management through data collection, documentation review, and coordination of key information.
• Work closely with clients, insurers, and internal stakeholders to progress claims and provide timely updates.
• Assist senior claims and broking leaders with advocacy work across cyber, FINPRO, and construction matters.
• Contribute to policy interpretation, claims strategy, and risk identification.

Required profile

• Legal qualification strongly preferred.
• Experience in an insurance firm, cyber incident management firm, or claims handling role with an insurer or broker.
• Ability to work autonomously, manage competing priorities with accuracy and care.

Required skills

• Well‑developed understanding of insurance claims management.
• Experience in cyber‑related claims, incident response, or insurance advisory work is a plus.
