Senior Retail Operations Manager

About the role

The Senior Retail Operations Manager will lead operational excellence for ALO’s high‑growth market in Australia and eventually New Zealand. Reporting to Global Retail Operations, you will translate global models into local execution, shape processes, and partner with cross‑functional teams to ensure seamless store performance.

Key responsibilities

• Translate and scale global retail operating models across Australia and New Zealand, adapting to local consumer expectations and regulatory requirements.
• Conduct impact and gap assessments, design market‑specific processes, and co‑develop new operating models with Global Retail Operations.
• Manage critical path milestones for new store openings and formats, ensuring day‑one operational readiness.
• Partner with logistics, supply‑chain, and other functions to optimise inventory flow and fulfilment models for the ANZ retail ecosystem.
• Measure adoption and success of initiatives through KPIs, provide insights to regional and global leadership, and maintain the ANZ Retail Calendar.

Required profile

• Minimum 10 years of multi‑country retail operations management experience, preferably with a global brand.
• Strong project‑management skills with a proven ability to develop and meet detailed timelines.
• Self‑starter who can identify issues, propose solutions and implement improvements.
• Willingness to support non‑traditional work schedules, including holidays and weekends, and travel across ANZ and to the Los Angeles HQ.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
• Familiarity with AI tools such as Claude or ChatGPT.
