Senior Relationship Manager, Health & Property, Business Banking

About the role

ANZ Business & Private Bank is recruiting a Senior Relationship Manager for its Property / Health division in Sydney. You will manage and expand a portfolio of Health and Property Development/Investment customers with lending exposures of up to $75M, supported by a micro-team of an R&A Manager and two Assistant Managers. The role is permanent and full-time, based at the Pitt Street office.

Key responsibilities

• Grow and develop a portfolio of Property and Health customers through relationship management, acquisition and referral generation.
• Identify new business opportunities and deepen existing relationships by understanding customers' strategic goals and offering tailored banking solutions.
• Build a pipeline of prospective customers using industry knowledge, networks and market presence.
• Collaborate with Product Partners, Property Finance specialists and Credit teams to structure complex, customised lending solutions.
• Lead conversations on property investment and development finance, working capital, trade finance and cash management.
• Act as a trusted adviser to business owners and senior decision-makers.
• Maintain portfolio performance through risk management, credit stewardship and compliance.

Required profile

• Proven track record in business development, customer acquisition and portfolio growth in commercial or business banking.
• Strong networks and industry knowledge in Property and/or Health, able to identify and convert new opportunities.
• Exceptional relationship management skills, confident engaging business owners, executives and key decision-makers.
• Sound understanding of commercial banking products, including property investment and development lending, working capital, trade finance and cash management.
• Strong commercial and financial acumen, negotiation, influencing and stakeholder management skills.
• Energy, curiosity and a growth mindset; not all listed skills are required.
