Relationship Credit Manager, Health & Property, Business Banking

About the role

ANZ Business & Private Bank is hiring a Relationship Credit Manager for its Property & Health division in Sydney. You will help leading property development, property investor and healthcare businesses grow while delivering strong credit outcomes, working alongside a Senior Relationship Manager and Assistant Manager. The role sits in the Pitt Street office and is permanent and full-time.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of Property & Health customers, balancing growth with credit quality
• Partner with Relationship Managers, Product Partners and Credit Risk teams to structure tailored lending solutions
• Prepare high-quality credit submissions and recommendations using credit risk analysis and financial assessment
• Build trusted relationships with customers and key stakeholders, acting as a strategic adviser on their banking and financing needs
• Monitor and manage existing facilities, ensuring risk management, compliance and portfolio performance
• Work with Lending Services and Operations teams to drive efficiencies and support customers
• Stay informed on industry, economic and market trends in the Health & Property sector

Required profile

• Strong experience in commercial banking, business banking or credit analysis, with complex lending and credit risk assessment
• Property and/or health lending preferred
• Ability to analyse financial statements, assess risk and structure credit facilities
• Excellent relationship-building and stakeholder management skills with business owners and senior decision-makers
• Sound knowledge of commercial banking products such as working capital finance, cash management, trade finance and tailored lending
• Problem-solving and decision-making skills, and a collaborative approach to risk and compliance
