Senior Project Manager

About the role

ConsultANZ is recruiting a Senior Project Manager to lead major piling, foundation and ground engineering projects for a leading contractor across Queensland. This senior leadership position offers the chance to shape large‑scale civil infrastructure delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Lead delivery of major piling, foundation and ground engineering projects throughout Queensland.
• Manage multiple projects concurrently, ensuring safety, programme, quality and cost targets are met.
• Provide leadership, mentoring and technical guidance to Project Managers, Engineers and site teams.
• Drive strong commercial and operational performance across all projects.
• Maintain effective client and stakeholder relationships.
• Contribute to business performance, team culture and continuous improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Degree‑qualified in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
• Demonstrated experience managing multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong commercial acumen and operational delivery capability.
• Proven leadership experience developing project delivery teams.
• Hands‑on project delivery experience within contractor environments.
• Deep understanding of construction execution, programme delivery, commercial management and site operations.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
