Senior Project Manager – Enterprise SaaS Transformation

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead the integrated delivery of the University’s Banner SaaS implementation and associated business transformation programme. This 12‑month fixed‑term position is based at our Surry Hills campus with hybrid flexibility.

Key responsibilities

• Lead programme planning, governance, reporting, risk and dependency management across multiple workstreams.
• Coordinate functional, technical, data, integration, security, testing, training and change activities.
• Manage scope, requirements, issues, change control and formal approvals.
• Act as the primary day‑to‑day contact for implementation partners, system integrators and third‑party vendors.
• Monitor vendor performance, service levels and commercial obligations.
• Lead integrated testing, cutover and operational‑readiness planning.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading complex enterprise technology, SaaS or student information system programmes.
• Strong stakeholder‑management and communication skills, able to influence executives and technical specialists.
• Experience working in matrix environments with distributed or international teams.
• Relevant project or programme management qualifications (PMP, PRINCE2, MSP preferred).

• Enterprise SaaS implementation (Ellucian Banner preferred).
• Data migration, system integration and testing.
