Senior Project Manager – Commercial Construction

About the role

This senior leadership position offers the opportunity to lead a major commercial construction development in Melbourne’s North‑West. You will own the delivery of a multi‑stage project that includes retail, office, hotel, medical and wellbeing facilities, as well as curated restaurants.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the end‑to‑end delivery of a $150M+ first stage and subsequent $160M+ stages of a mixed‑use development.
• Manage trade contractors and on‑site teams, ensuring safety, quality and schedule adherence.
• Develop and maintain construction programmes, sequencing plans and buildability assessments.
• Oversee commercial aspects including variations, cost reporting and forecasting.
• Collaborate with senior leadership, clients and internal stakeholders to drive project success.

Required profile

• Minimum 6 years’ experience as a Project Manager in a construction or head‑contractor environment.
• Proven track record delivering commercial projects valued at $100M +.
• Hands‑on experience managing active construction phases and site teams.
• Strong commercial capability across variations, cost reporting and forecasting.
• Practical, delivery‑focused leadership style with regular site involvement.
