Senior Product Designer

About the role

Shape the experiences that make managing money with Zip feel simple, intuitive and human. Work hybrid from our Sydney office, partnering closely with Product, Engineering, Data and Design.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end design across a product domain, from discovery through delivery, measurement and continuous improvement.
• Set high standards for accessible interaction and visual design across native mobile and web, turning ideas into production‑ready experiences.
• Use customer research, product data and experimentation to influence strategy and define success.
• Apply systems thinking to simplify complex financial journeys and align experience with technology, operations, policy and risk.
• Partner with cross‑functional teams to make thoughtful trade‑offs between customer needs, business priorities and technical feasibility.

Required profile

• 5+ years designing complex, customer‑facing digital products in fintech, payments or regulated environments.
• Strong interaction and visual design capability with a portfolio demonstrating mobile and web work.
• Confidence using research, usability testing, experimentation and product data to drive decisions.
• Ability to facilitate workshops, design critiques and storytelling to build alignment.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Figma and prototyping tools.
• Experience contributing to scalable design systems.
• Practical use of AI‑assisted tools for exploration, prototyping or research synthesis.
