Senior Offensive Security Consultant

About the role

As a Senior Offensive Security Consultant at Mantel, you will lead advanced penetration testing engagements for enterprise clients, covering web, mobile, desktop, network and cloud environments. You will work closely with stakeholders to deliver high‑quality security assessments and actionable recommendations.

Key responsibilities

• Design and execute large‑scale and targeted penetration tests, including black‑box, grey‑box and white‑box assessments.
• Produce detailed reports that summarise findings, prioritize risks and suggest remediation actions.
• Communicate technical results to both technical and non‑technical audiences, supporting clients in understanding security impacts.
• Stay up‑to‑date with emerging vulnerabilities, exploits and cybersecurity trends, and contribute to continuous improvement of testing methodologies.

Required profile

• Proven experience delivering multiple types of penetration tests (network, web, mobile) for enterprise customers.
• Strong understanding of networking, operating systems and web application security principles.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, able to explain complex technical concepts clearly.

Required skills

• Proficiency with penetration testing tools such as Burp Suite, Metasploit and Nmap.
• Ability to review application source code to identify security issues in business logic, authentication, input handling and data processing.
