Senior Network Infrastructure Engineer

About the role

This senior technical position supports secure, enterprise‑scale environments in a highly regulated setting. You will maintain and improve critical platforms across networking, servers, storage and backup while contributing to operational resilience and security.

Key responsibilities

• Configure, administer and optimise complex Cisco environments including ISE, NDFC, Nexus switching, leaf‑spine, VXLAN and SD‑WAN (Viptela/Meraki).
• Manage secure network services such as Palo Alto firewalls, VPNs and remote connectivity solutions.
• Administer F5 BIG‑IP load balancers and Azure cloud networking services.
• Support Windows Server, Linux and VMware environments ensuring high availability and performance.
• Perform upgrades, patching, monitoring, lifecycle management and capacity planning.
• Support backup, recovery, disaster‑recovery testing and operational resilience initiatives.
• Contribute to incident, problem and change management processes.

Required profile

• Australian citizenship with Baseline security clearance or higher.
• Strong hands‑on experience with Cisco networking technologies and enterprise security.
• Proven ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues across infrastructure platforms.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
