About the role
ILM Sydney is seeking a Senior Modeler to bridge artistic vision and technical execution, creating high‑quality digital assets for visual effects, VR, AR and immersive cinema projects.
Key responsibilities
- Take ownership of complex assets such as creatures, characters, vehicles, props and environments, delivering production‑ready models with minimal supervision.
- Build clean, efficient and fully optimised assets, collaborate with other departments to achieve the desired look, and provide accurate time estimates while communicating progress.
Required profile
- 5‑8+ years of professional experience in a VFX or feature‑animation pipeline.
- Proven ability to model high‑quality assets in a fast‑paced production environment, with clear communication and reliable time management.
Required skills
- Advanced proficiency in Maya.
- Advanced proficiency in ZBrush.
