Senior Mid-Market Account Executive

About the role

Block’s Square division is looking for a Senior Mid-Market Account Executive to drive growth with mid‑market merchants. You will own the full outbound sales cycle, shaping multi‑product solutions and closing complex deals across diverse industries.

Key responsibilities

• Own end‑to‑end outbound sales from prospecting to negotiation and close for mid‑market merchants.
• Build a high‑quality pipeline using cold outreach, social selling, targeted campaigns and creative outbound strategies.
• Develop and present multi‑product solutions across Square’s ecosystem tailored to each merchant’s needs.
• Partner with Business Development on lead flow while independently acquiring net‑new logos.
• Conduct discovery calls, demos and negotiations with multi‑stakeholder decision makers.
• Collaborate with Product, Marketing, Implementation and Operations to deliver cohesive solutions.
• Maintain disciplined pipeline management and accurate forecasting in Salesforce.
• Consistently achieve and exceed monthly and quarterly revenue targets.

Required profile

• 7+ years of full‑cycle B2B sales experience with a proven record of quota attainment.
• Demonstrated success in outbound prospecting and net‑new business creation, preferably in SaaS or fintech.
• Experience closing complex, multi‑threaded deals with longer sales cycles.
• Strong consultative selling ability to diagnose business challenges and map tailored solutions.

• Ability to work independently while thriving in a team‑first environment.
