Senior Manager Finance

About the role

Volunteering WA is looking for an experienced Senior Manager Finance to lead its finance function in a purpose‑driven, non‑profit environment. You will work closely with the CEO and Executive Management Team, providing strategic financial advice and ensuring robust governance, risk and compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Provide trusted financial advice and insights to senior leadership, the Board and Finance, Audit and Risk Committee.
• Deliver accurate and timely financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting and analysis.
• Ensure strong financial governance, compliance, audit and risk management.
• Oversee finance operations, systems, controls and reporting integrity.
• Support organisational planning, funding proposals, grants and project financial management.
• Develop and maintain effective financial policies, processes and systems.
• Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives across the finance function.
• Lead and develop the Finance Team through a supportive and collaborative approach.

• Experience in non‑profit or community‑focused organisations is desirable.
