Senior Manager / Associate Director – Recruitment Leadership

About the role

Robert Half is seeking an experienced agency recruitment leader to head its Accounting & Finance practice in Sydney. This senior leadership position offers the chance to shape a high‑performing team, drive business growth and collaborate across the APAC region.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of five recruitment consultants in a collaborative, inclusive sales environment.
• Drive new business growth while expanding long‑standing client partnerships.
• Coach, mentor and train the team through regular sales reviews and strategic planning.
• Identify cross‑sell opportunities across national offices and build data‑driven recruitment solutions.
• Maintain market presence by spotting trends, advising clients and connecting with senior talent.
• Collaborate with regional leadership and contribute to APAC‑wide initiatives.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a recruitment manager or team leader in a high‑performing agency.
• Commercial mindset with strong client‑relationship building abilities.
• Passion for leading people, developing talent and achieving ambitious outcomes.
• Prior experience in Accounting & Finance recruitment is ideal but not essential.
• Desire to scale your career within a larger, international environment.
