Senior Management Accountant

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Management Accountant to join the Brisbane finance team of an ASX‑listed global investment manager. The role reports to the Group Financial Controller and will own budgeting, forecasting and management reporting while providing board‑ready insights.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the annual budgeting and forecasting process across multiple entities.
• Prepare monthly management reports, executive commentary and Board reporting packs.
• Deliver financial analysis, performance insights and variance reporting.
• Support strategic decision‑making through financial modelling and business partnering.
• Drive reporting enhancements, systems improvements and process efficiencies.
• Assist with month‑end reporting and key finance projects.

Required profile

• CA or CPA qualification.
• Experience in management accounting, FP&A or commercial finance.
• Strong budgeting, forecasting and financial modelling capability.
• Proven ability to prepare executive‑level and Board‑ready reporting.
• Experience in financial services, funds management or ASX‑listed environments is highly regarded.
