About the role

Chambers Russell Lawyers is seeking an experienced senior lawyer to join its Sydney team. The position focuses on construction litigation while also offering exposure to broader contentious and non‑contentious matters. It provides a clear pathway toward practice leadership and partnership.

Key responsibilities

• Manage an independent caseload of construction dispute matters from inception to resolution.
• Lead and mentor junior lawyers, fostering their development.
• Develop and maintain strong client relationships, delivering high‑quality legal advice.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure seamless service delivery.
• Contribute to the growth and strategic direction of the litigation practice.

Required profile

• Minimum of 5 years post‑admission experience with a proven litigation track record.
• Demonstrated ability to handle complex construction disputes.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Detail‑oriented with a client‑focused mindset.
• Willingness to mentor and develop junior team members.
