Senior Lending Specialist

About the role

The Senior Lending Specialist will join ANZ's Private Banking team, supporting the bank's highest‑net‑worth clients with tailored lending solutions. You will work from our Sydney office, collaborating closely with relationship bankers and credit risk partners to deliver exceptional client experiences.

Key responsibilities

• Provide end‑to‑end lending advice and solutions, ensuring client satisfaction and compliance with regulatory standards.
• Collaborate with bankers across functions to structure and sponsor deals, managing credit risk within the bank’s appetite.
• Execute lending activities promptly, maintaining high‑quality analysis, reporting, and monitoring of credit, market, operational and compliance risks.
• Balance business, customer and regulatory requirements to achieve financially sound outcomes.

Required profile

• Proven experience in banking or financial services, preferably in a lending capacity.
• Strong stakeholder management and influencing abilities.
• Excellent communication skills and a client‑focused mindset.
