About the role
Senior in‑house legal counsel providing expert advice across a wide range of banking matters. You will partner closely with senior leaders to support strategic initiatives in a fast‑paced, regulated environment.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver high‑quality legal advice to business units, senior leaders and executives on diverse issues.
- Support major projects and transactions, including regulatory changes and risk‑exposure responses.
- Interpret complex legislation and develop policy and risk‑management strategies.
Required profile
- Legal qualification and admission to practice in Australia.
- Demonstrated experience in banking or financial services legal roles (private practice or in‑house).
- Strong relationship, communication and analytical skills.
- Ability to interpret and explain complex legislation and manage regulatory change.
