Senior Legal Counsel – Infrastructure & Construction

About the role

An experienced Infrastructure & Construction lawyer is needed to join the in‑house legal team of a fast‑growing technology infrastructure company at the forefront of artificial intelligence.

Key responsibilities

• Lead legal support for major construction, infrastructure and capital projects, including complex contractor arrangements.
• Advise on property transactions, leasing and development matters.
• Structure and negotiate procurement, supply‑chain and strategic sourcing agreements.
• Provide counsel on power, energy, utilities and related commercial agreements.
• Develop legal templates, policies and frameworks to support business growth.
• Partner with senior stakeholders to manage risk and deliver commercially focused outcomes.

Required profile

• 8–10+ years post‑qualification experience in a leading law firm or sophisticated in‑house team.
• Significant experience across construction, infrastructure, procurement, energy, utilities and complex commercial contracting.
• Proven ability to negotiate and manage complex commercial and project arrangements.
• Experience supporting large‑scale operational and capital project environments.
• Excellent commercial judgement and pragmatic, solutions‑focused advice for senior executives.
• Strong stakeholder management, communication and negotiation skills in a fast‑paced, high‑growth environment.
