About the role

The School of Accounting, Economics and Finance at Curtin University is seeking a Senior Lecturer in Accounting to deliver innovative teaching, advance a strong research agenda, and contribute to a collaborative academic environment.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver high‑quality teaching to undergraduate and postgraduate students across various modes.
• Develop and lead innovative curriculum and learning experiences.
• Publish research in high‑quality refereed journals and seek competitive research grants.
• Engage with industry stakeholders and contribute to professional and community activities.
• Participate in academic service, collegial activities and uphold Curtin’s values.

Required profile

• Doctoral qualification in Accounting.
• Established record of excellence in teaching and curriculum development.
• Productive research output with national and international reputation.
• Experience supervising master's and doctoral students.
• Demonstrated academic leadership and high‑level communication skills.

Required skills

• Ability to design and deliver innovative accounting courses.
• Experience in obtaining research income and competitive grants.
