Senior Financial Analyst – FP&A

About the role

Join Aware Super’s Business Finance team as a Senior Financial Analyst – FP&A, delivering high‑quality financial planning, forecasting, performance reporting and commercial insights for strategic initiatives and investment proposals.

Key responsibilities

• Support accurate and timely reporting and analysis of project financials.
• Partner with Senior Finance Partners to provide insights on current and forecast performance of strategic initiatives.
• Build cost‑benefit models for project funding requests, challenge assumptions and identify risks and opportunities.
• Prepare monthly management reports that explain key financial and non‑financial drivers in an engaging manner.
• Identify opportunities to use AI, automation and analytics to streamline finance activities.
• Analyse large datasets to uncover trends, themes and actionable commercial insights.

Required profile

• Degree in Accounting or Finance with CA or CPA membership.
• 5+ years experience in commercial finance, FP&A or similar, with strong management reporting, budgeting and forecasting capability.
• Proven business partnering experience and confidence working with senior stakeholders.
• Advanced financial modelling skills and ability to influence and challenge assumptions.
