Senior Financial Accountant

About the role

This senior finance position supports a fast‑growing global business in Perth. Reporting to the finance leadership team, you will own month‑end reporting, financial analysis and help drive performance across multiple entities and cost centres.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare month‑end journals, reconciliations and lead the financial close process.
• Produce and review branch P&L statements across several entities and cost centres.
• Support management reporting and detailed financial analysis.
• Manage inventory accounting for rental, materials and sales environments.
• Handle lease accounting, including compliance with AASB 16.
• Assist with statutory reporting, compliance and tax‑related activities as required.
• Work with ERP systems to improve reporting processes and data quality.
• Partner with operational and finance stakeholders to identify system, control and process improvements.

Required profile

• CPA or CA qualification (or final year of completion).
• Minimum five years of experience in financial accounting or a similar role.
• Strong month‑end, reporting and analytical capabilities.
• Experience working across multiple business units, entities and cost centres.
• Willingness to travel occasionally.

Required skills

• ERP systems experience.
• Advanced Excel proficiency.
• Knowledge of AASB 16 lease accounting standards.
