Senior Facilities Manager – Multi‑Site Operations

About the role

Knight Facilities Management (KFM) is looking for a hands‑on Senior Facilities Manager to lead integrated hard and soft FM services across a fast‑moving, multi‑site portfolio in Port Melbourne. Reporting to the National Operations Manager, you will own end‑to‑end service delivery, contractor performance and financial outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Lead planned, reactive and corrective maintenance across all sites.
• Drive contractor accountability, service quality and KPI performance.
• Manage operational escalations and resolve service issues proactively.
• Oversee CMMS workflows, service tracking, reporting accuracy and data management.
• Monitor budgeting, forecasting, cost control and margin management.
• Prepare and present operational performance reports and corrective action plans.
• Build strong relationships with clients, contractors and internal stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with WHS, statutory obligations, essential services and contractual requirements.
• Coordinate minor works and project delivery within approved scope and budget.
• Identify risks, inefficiencies and improvement opportunities, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
• Lead, coach and manage a small team of facilities professionals.

Required profile

• 5+ years of facilities management experience on complex or multi‑site portfolios.
• Strong understanding of both hard and soft FM service delivery.
• Proven track record managing contractors, KPIs and financial performance.
• Hands‑on operational leader comfortable making decisions in a fast‑paced environment.

Required skills

• CMMS (Computerised Maintenance Management System) proficiency.
