Senior Estimator - Energy & Natural Resources

About the role

Turner & Townsend is looking for a Senior Estimator to join its Energy & Natural Resources team in Adelaide. The main focus of the role is running commissions that require estimates and estimate assurance.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the estimation process for construction projects from inception to completion, ensuring timely and accurate estimates.
• Analyse project plans, specifications and requirements to develop comprehensive cost estimates covering materials, labour, equipment and overheads.
• Use industry-standard estimating software to prepare detailed take-offs and cost breakdowns.
• Work with project managers, engineers, subcontractors and suppliers to obtain accurate pricing and cost data.
• Assist Construction Managers in planning.
• Review and analyse bids, proposals and subcontractor quotes to ensure competitiveness and compliance with project requirements.

Required profile

• Relevant work experience, ideally in a consultancy environment.
• Attention to detail and ability to work autonomously.
• Excellent written and spoken English, with strong report and bid writing skills.
• Motivated, driven and able to work independently.

Required skills

• Proficiency in SAP and Prism.
• Estimating software and take-off tools.
