Site Manager - Architecturally Designed Townhouses

About the role

A South Australian developer-builder known for quality residential communities is looking for an experienced Site Manager to take ownership of site delivery across architecturally designed townhouse developments in Adelaide. The role works alongside an established project team, overseeing construction from commencement through to completion, driving programme performance, maintaining quality standards and ensuring safe, efficient site operations.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee site operations from initial groundworks through to practical completion
• Manage construction programmes, sequencing and project milestones
• Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers and site personnel
• Maintain quality standards across all stages of construction
• Ensure compliance with workplace health and safety and environmental requirements
• Conduct site inspections, quality checks and progress reviews
• Identify and resolve construction issues to protect programme and quality outcomes
• Manage defects, practical completion and project handover
• Communicate with project teams and key stakeholders throughout delivery

Required profile

• Proven site management experience within residential construction
• Exposure to townhouse, medium-density or multi-residential developments
• Hands-on approach, taking ownership of site performance and leading trades confidently
• Ability to manage competing priorities and maintain construction momentum
• Clear communication and stakeholder management skills
• Pride in delivering well-designed residential projects to a high standard
