About the role
Aurecon is seeking a Senior Engineer to join its Bridges and Civil Structures team in Brisbane. You will work on high‑impact infrastructure projects, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to deliver resilient and innovative bridge solutions.
Key responsibilities
- Design and assess bridges and civil structures using advanced engineering methods.
- Advise clients throughout project lifecycles, from concept to delivery.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to solve technical challenges.
- Provide high‑quality advice that informs decision‑making.
- Apply advanced analytics and optimisation to enhance performance.
Required profile
- Relevant engineering qualifications with CPEng and RPEQ registration (pre‑requisite).
- Proven track record in bridge design and assessment.
- Strong communication, collaboration and stakeholder‑engagement abilities.
- Willingness to mentor and up‑skill junior engineers.
Required skills
- Proficiency with structural bridge engineering software: Midas Civil, Space Gass, Autodesk Structural Bridge Design.
- Advanced analytical and optimisation techniques for bridge performance.
