About the role
AECOM is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to strengthen its Resources + Industry team in Perth. The role will enhance local electrical engineering capabilities, support a variety of mining, industrial and civil infrastructure projects, and mentor junior staff.
Key responsibilities
- Manage electrical components across all project phases, from feasibility studies to commissioning.
- Collaborate with engineers on resources, industrial, transport, water and building projects.
- Provide technical advice on sustaining capital projects and support ANZ industrial decarbonisation studies.
- Mentor and develop junior engineers, contributing to team growth.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
- Proven design experience in mining, local government or heavy‑industry sectors.
- Experience with HV/LV distribution, controls, communications, safety systems and motor controls.
- Ability to produce technical specifications, datasheets, reports and scopes of work.
