The Senior Education Advisor supports the development and delivery of the Centre's executive education, professional development and capability-building programs, translating First Nations knowledges, research, policy and practitioner expertise into accessible, culturally grounded learning. The position reports to the Associate Director, Education & Professional Development.

Key responsibilities

  • Develop and deliver executive education, professional development, short courses, leadership programs and other capability-building initiatives in line with approved priorities.

  • Coordinate program design, pilots and delivery, including schedules, facilitators, participants, learning platforms and delivery partners.
  • Support First Nations-led co-design and engagement, ensuring programs respond to community priorities, recognise cultural authority and protect intellectual property.
  • Work with Centre experts, ANU colleagues and external partners to source content, support facilitation and maintain high-quality learning experiences.
  • Monitor participation, feedback and learning outcomes, and contribute to evaluation, reporting and continuous improvement.
  • Manage assigned projects, budgets, contracts, records, risks and procurement processes within approved plans and delegations.
  • Prepare advice, briefs, proposals, reports and communications for the Associate Director and relevant stakeholders.

  • Full-time, continuing position (contingent funded, with funding expected to end in June 2030).
  • Right to live and work in Australia; a background check is required and an offer is conditional on satisfactory results.

Applications are made through the recruitment agency FPRS, by uploading a statement addressing the selection criteria and a CV with at least three referees, plus any other documents requested.
