Senior DevOps Engineer

About the role

Join Settify to modernise its AWS infrastructure and support a next‑generation AI‑backed legal tech product. This hybrid, Sydney‑based role offers the chance to shape cloud architecture, CI/CD pipelines and regional deployments while working closely with developers.

Key responsibilities

• Own and manage AWS infrastructure using IaC (CDK/Terraform) for compute, networking, databases and queues.
• Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines to enable reliable builds, tests, releases and rollbacks.
• Set up regional environments and deploy the product to new cloud regions.
• Implement logging, metrics, tracing and alerts (Datadog, CloudWatch, Grafana/Prometheus) to improve production visibility.
• Support LLM features by configuring model access, tracing and evaluation pipelines.
• Automate repetitive tasks, write tooling in TypeScript/Node.js or Python, and maintain security controls (IAM, secrets, encryption, backups).

Required profile

• 8+ years in DevOps, SRE or platform engineering.
• Strong experience with AWS services (EC2, Lambda, SQS, RDS, DynamoDB, VPC, IAM).
• Proficiency with Docker, ECS or Kubernetes/EKS.
• Hands‑on with CDK or Terraform and CI/CD tooling.
• Experience in monitoring (Datadog, CloudWatch, Grafana/Prometheus) and on‑call support.
