Senior Data Scientist – Applied Machine Learning

About the role
Lendi Group is building data and AI capabilities to help customers make better decisions across home lending and property services. As a Senior Data Scientist you will turn complex customer and business problems into production‑ready machine‑learning solutions.
Key responsibilities
- Translate business problems into clear analytical and ML objectives and work with large event datasets and feature stores.
- Develop, evaluate and improve models for propensity, personalisation, growth and retention using classification, regression, experimentation and forecasting.
- Take models through the full product lifecycle: deployment, automation, monitoring, drift detection, retraining and maintenance.
- Collaborate with data engineers, product managers, analysts, software engineers and senior business stakeholders to deliver measurable outcomes.
- Help improve data quality, feature pipelines, ML‑Ops practices and contribute to technical documentation and design discussions.
Required profile
- Commercial experience as a Data Scientist, Applied Scientist, Machine Learning Engineer or similar role.
- Strong Python programming skills with production‑quality code.
- Solid foundations in probability, statistics, model evaluation and machine‑learning fundamentals.
- Experience developing, deploying and maintaining ML models in cloud platforms such as Databricks, AWS SageMaker or Azure ML.
- Ability to work effectively with product managers, engineers, analysts and senior business stakeholders.
