Senior Contract Administrator

About the role

Hansen Yuncken is seeking an experienced Senior Contract Administrator to join its Sydney team. You will support the delivery of high‑profile commercial, education and defence projects across the Greater Sydney Metro area, ensuring contracts are managed efficiently and safely.

Key responsibilities

• Administer and monitor head contracts and sub‑contracts throughout project lifecycles.
• Prepare and review procurement documentation, cost reports and programme updates.
• Maintain accurate contractual records and support dispute resolution.
• Collaborate with project teams to ensure compliance with safety, quality and schedule requirements.

Required profile

• Recent Tier 1 or Tier 2 experience as a Contract Administrator in a main‑contractor environment.
• Strong understanding of contract administration, procurement and cost reporting.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and teamwork abilities.
• Tertiary qualification in Construction Management, Engineering, Quantity Surveying or equivalent experience.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Experience using CHEOPS contract management software.
