Senior Consultant – International Tax & Transaction Services

About the role

EY is seeking a Senior Consultant to join its International Tax and Transaction Services practice. You will work with a diverse portfolio of clients, including private equity firms, multinational corporations, and managed funds, delivering tax structuring, advisory, and due‑diligence support across a range of sectors.

Key responsibilities

• Advise clients on domestic and international tax matters throughout the M&A lifecycle, including due diligence, structuring and advisory engagements.
• Prepare tax opinions and reports covering supply chains, fund structures, capital structures and global reorganisations.
• Project‑manage multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless delivery across specialties and geographies.
• Build and maintain client relationships by anticipating needs and providing high‑quality service.
• Support and mentor junior team members while staying current with tax law changes and industry trends.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of experience in Australian tax consulting, corporate or legal tax environments.
• Strong tax research capabilities and ability to communicate complex tax concepts clearly.
• Experience working collaboratively in a team setting.
• Prior income tax compliance experience is a plus.
