Senior Consultant – Financial Modelling

About the role

KPMG’s Financial Modelling team is expanding and seeks a Senior Consultant to develop best‑in‑class models that support strategic decisions and valuations across a range of sectors and asset classes.

Key responsibilities

• Design and build robust financial models for major transactions, greenfield developments, project financings and business cases.
• Review and enhance models used in high‑profile Australian and global transactions.
• Interpret model outputs, provide insightful analysis and deliver clear recommendations to clients.
• Lead client engagements or specific workstreams, mentoring junior staff and coordinating with client resources.
• Participate in a flexible work environment, collaborating from home, office or client hubs.

Required profile

• Degree in a numerate discipline such as commerce, accounting, econometrics or STEM.
• Progress towards or completion of a professional qualification (CA, CFA, CPA) is desirable.
• Strong problem‑solving ability, logical thinking and meticulous attention to detail.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with experience working with clients or stakeholders.
