Senior Commercial Manager

About the role

Bechtel is seeking a Senior Commercial Manager to join its Perth team. The role focuses on subcontract formation, administration, and procurement for large‑scale infrastructure projects across aviation, defence and energy sectors.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the procurement and post‑award administration of main works and design packages.
• Prepare and review bid request packages and develop project contract operating procedures.
• Support tendering activities and manage the major contract for the assigned program.
• Oversee implementation of project‑specific procedures and monitor compliance throughout construction.
• Continuously review progress, forecast outcomes and communicate any issues to stakeholders.

Required profile

• Significant experience in commercial management within the construction or engineering sector.
• Proven ability to manage subcontract formation and administration.
• Strong understanding of procurement processes and contract lifecycle.
• Senior‑level expertise with a track record of delivering complex, multi‑discipline projects.
