Architect – Retail & Commercial Projects (Perth)

About the role

We are seeking a technically talented Architect or Building Designer to join our Perth office. The role involves delivering comprehensive architectural documentation for retail and commercial projects across Australia and New Zealand.

Key responsibilities

• Lead projects from town‑planning stages through to full architectural documentation.
• Coordinate with internal and external clients in Australia and New Zealand.
• Conduct site surveys, measurements and ensure compliance with the Building Code of Australia (BCA).
• Mentor junior staff, share knowledge and support team development.
• Manage workload, prioritize tasks and meet project deadlines.

Required profile

• 5–7 years of experience on retail and commercial projects.
• Strong understanding of commercial construction and the BCA.
• Positive attitude, excellent teamwork and communication skills.
• Self‑motivated, proactive and able to work both autonomously and within a team.
• Relevant degree or qualification and a current driver’s licence.

Required skills

• Proficiency in REVIT.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD.
• Good knowledge of MS Word.
• Good knowledge of MS Excel.
